Woodie's is a shore classic! Burgers, dogs, fries, and more served hit and fast. Peak hours can be tight for parking and waiting for a table, as it fills up fast.

Must stop on lbi- perfect for a quick bite after the beach or before :)

Woodies is the go-to place for burgers and such in LBI. One of the landmark eateries on the island.

Excellent burger's. I had the "ringer," it's awesome. Very cheesy, cheese fries also. A delicious, great choice for lunch.

Love the walk-in ambiance especially in a beach town.I had 2 burgers, The Ringer Burger with a spicy black bean veggie patty and the Guacamole burger with a veggie patty. Good flavor and decent toppings.The bread was a bit underbaked with raw flour pockets. 3 types of fries, truffle, cheese, and regular. All had a nice flavor while the truffle fries were a bit strong. I put ketchup and mustard on the regular fries and got some stares from people around me. Many hadn't seen that before. Loved the gull hanging out the entire my group was there.

Best burgers I've ever had and I'm very fussy and a huge skeptic! The burger meat is very fresh (local butcher) and all are flamed broiled to order. There are many burgers to choose from as well as hot dogs, cheesesteaks and fresh seafood. The owner is pretty awesome himself, he's usually always on site and is extremely friendly. I've been coming to Woodies for years and have never been disappointed. It's a must everytime we're on LBI.

Their ad claims best burger on Long Beach Island. Well I haven't tried every burger on LBI, but I can tell you that Woodies makes a darned good burger. And many many varieties. From standard hamburger and cheeseburgers to all kinds of toppings. My wife enjoyed one that came with Cajun fries on the burger. My delicious burger had jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, and mouth watering fresh red onions. Left me wanting more! So good! The fries were excellent and my kids loved their grilled.cheese and chicken fingers. Also have ice cream and wings (which we did not sample today but will likely be back to try in the future). Staff was friendly and welcoming, decor was surfer themed, everything was clean, condiment bottles were full. Orders can be placed and picked up at walk up window outside or at counter inside. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Highly recommended!

This place is a great little stop on LBI. Dog friendly outdoor seating makes it a super easy place to enjoy some lunch if you're out with your dog for the day. Would highly recommend. Burgers are super fresh and food is delicious.

Good quality food and quick service. So glad there was convenient outdoor seating after a morning at the beach.

Had a Caribbean burger, wife had a blue burger, order of sweet potato fries and a chicken tender meal for our little ones to eat. Had a lot of people brag on them and we were not disappointed! Great food, Great service, Great place to grab good comfort food for the family!

The burger was really good but I think it would have been good if they had toasted the hamburger buns and unfortunately the french fries were not hot at all.

Ok, I'm a skeptic at times. My first time there 2-days ago, was off season. Sign said "BEST Burgers On The Island!" Of course I did NOT believe it....until I custom ordered & TASTED ONE! Fresh, fresh chop meat (from local butcher): had fresh garlic mixed INTO burger meat, slice cheddar, slice raw onion, FLAMED COOKED to order MEDIUM RARE, fresh big bun! And some kinda "real cut potato fries, w skin on them = GREAT! Luscious burger, juicy, off hook GOOD! Owner (maybe Woody?) with ice-blue eyes, gave GREAT, courteous service! Young dude w/ same ice-blue eyes, also courteous . I live ALL WAY in Asbury Park, & Woodie Burgers top EVERYTHING, & great-value pricing!

Really good burgers. had some interesting items on the menu. But nothing mind-blowing or that you could can't find it other gourmet burger joints. The hand-cut fries are definitely worth the upgrade.

It was our first time coming to eat here. We stopped when we got off the beach. Literally one of the best flounder sandwiches we ever had. So fresh and delicious. Great service,food and prices. We will definitely return.

I would say Woodies is the best place for burgers and hotdogs in the island. Some may say a bit pricey but I have no complaints here. Quality of food and service is always great. Kids love the ambiance too.

I happened to pass Woodie's on the way to Barnegat Lighthouse. Seemed a good place for dinner. It's a cash only business, but they had an Atm in the lobby, so all was good. O.M.G. The burgers were delicious, just what I needed after a day hiking about LBI. So juicy. And I loved the dirty fries (Old Bay fries). I'll definitely visit again if I'm in thr neighborhood .
